Introduction
The Diocese of East Anglia is facing a crisis of pastoral provision. Bishop Peter is consulting the faithful throughout the diocese in a synodal process to help discern how best to address this.
Our parish response to the Diocesan Consultation questions has now been submitted to Bishop Peter. Some copies of a summary of the response are available at both churches to take away and also available below. If you would like to take one away, and find they have all gone, let the Sunday Mass welcomer know, or drop a line to the parish email (see the back page of this newsletter) and one will be copied for you. The full response is also available at each church to borrow and also below, or as a Word document on request from the Parish Office.
But this isn’t the end of the story: the response document will be studied further to identify what suggestions might be taken forward in the short term, keeping the momentum raised across the parish by the consultation
